Ingredients:
The cake:
200g Granulated sugar
3 Eggs
200g Almond powder
The cream:
One cup of heavy whipping cream
Tablespoon of granulated sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla bean extract
Toppings:
Strawberries
Blueberries
Procedure:
1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees celsius
2. In a 24~26cm cake pan, cover the bottom with parchment paper or aluminum foil and butter the edges
3. Gather your cake ingredients
4. In a bowl, add your granulated sugar and eggs. Mix with an electric mixer until well combined.
5. Then add-in 200g of almond powder and mix it by hand until well combined
6. Put the cake batter into the pan and bake in a 170-degree Celsius oven for 30~35 minutes
7. After 30~35 minutes, take the cake out and cool it down before taking it out of the pan
8. In another bowl, add heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until it is fully whipped.
9. Add the whipped cream to the cake and add your toppings
