Winter Carnival is back! NIS was finally able to hold a winter event after three years. This year's fair has been divided into various sections inside the campus space—food sales in the commons and games in the gym- since the weather is getting colder. Unlike last month it wasn’t that cold when we had the Halloween carnival, where most booths were dispersed outside the campus space.
Many people attended the event and had a great bonding with their friends and family. Students and parents walked around the campus, playing games, eating delicious food, and watching musical performances. Ring toss, Free kick, Snow Basket, and Snowball Fight were some of the fun activities at the booths assigned in the Gymnasium. Delicious Foods such as Christmas-themed cookies, popcorn, Toktokkie, hot dogs, and hot chocolate were available and assigned in the cafeteria. Item sales- like toys, books, and other educational stuff- are placed in the east building. And last but not least, great musical performances by the students and teachers performed in the commons and east building.
For the most part, we saw how the NIS community really missed this kind of event. We saw what teamwork the students, teachers, and other people have. And without this kind of collaboration, there might be no delicious food, fun games, or excellent performances: in short, this event wouldn’t end up successful. A big thank you to everyone who participated in making this event happen. Now that Semester one is over, I wish you a wonderful holiday season!
