Itās February! And as we think of this month, the first thing that comes to mind is Valentine's Day. On February 7, 2023, the High school student council hosted a Valentine's Dance Party for Highschool students. Weāre glad that we can have this kind of event again at school after many years with COVID-19 protocols.
Most of the High School students came, and they looked stunning in their fancy clothes. The party was in the East lobby and Kawanabe room. In the east lobby, there were three sections. First, the place where people could get their food -pizza, cookies, muffins, drinks, and more- for free. Second, the section where people could sit if theyāre eating or tired from dancing. Last, the photo booth where you could take pictures with your friends, teachers, or maybe with your crushš¤. In the Kawanabe room was where the dance hall was! At the party, I saw how students, as well as some of the teachers, were having fun with their friends and vibing with the music. Also, the HSSC delivered roses during school hours since some students could not go, and some roses were given during the dance.
Overall, the party was very successful, the food was delicious, and the students and teachers enjoyed it. A massive thank you to HSSC and the teachers who put so much effort into this event, thank you to all students who attended, and we hope everyone had fun at the party! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!ā¤ļø
