The official High School Spring Sleepover last month was a blast for the students! The karaoke night, a stunning view of the Sakura, and spending the night with your friends made the whole day full of fun and joy.
Sports and free time were the first activities of the evening. Several students engaged in sports on campus, including soccer and softball on the field, and basketball and volleyball in the gym. Besides that, board games were being played in the classrooms with lots of interaction too. During dinner, pizza, drinks, and desserts were provided. Teachers also ran an outdoor barbeque. While eating dinner together, students had the opportunity to sit outside by the playground and enjoy the sunset and blooming Sakura with their friends.
The campus was alive with laughter at night. Students were playing video games, playing music out loud, watching movies in their rooms, and snacking along the hallway. Furthermore, there was a karaoke night going on in the music room, where students took turns singing during their slots. You could even hear the karaoke at the end of the hallway! In the blink of an eye, the evening was over, and before we knew it, it was morning the following day. Cezar's offered a wonderful breakfast buffet in the morning, and it was really lovely to eat breakfast while taking in the cool morning air and watching the sunrise.
The goal of this event, which two ninth graders organized over the course of six months, was to connect more students from various grade levels, and it was definitely accomplished. Furthermore, after the sleepover, countless students have claimed they wanted the sleepover again or if they could stay for more nights. This was also the first day that masks were not required, so watching everyone without masks, having fun as a community, and staying the night was undoubtedly a memorable experience for all students and teachers. We are thankful for all the time and effort put into organizing and setting up the sleepover!
It’s possible that this will be an annual event as well…
